Today I Recorded 2 papyrus gonolek Species

When dMy morning birding start right at home moving towards the lake. The first sound to woke me were common drongo calling out to each other. Getting out of the house I saw 3 Red-billed oxpecker looking for parasite such as tick on the cow. It was time to move away to the lake and on my way there red-cheecked Cordon blue on the ground feeding. At the lake I had a papyrus gonolek calling from a distance. With my binocular on my neck it was time to put it on use and even with the binoculars I wasn't able to see the bird. I waited for about 5minutes to see any movement of the bird and luckily the bird flew over the papyrus to another location where it's counter part was calling.

My first morning birding sighting

Good morning/Evening/night to everyone wherever you are. Today Sunday was a good day for me. I was watching birds along the lake of Kanyaboli and managed to spot a palm-nut vulture fly in the skies. Though I didn't carry my binoc ular with me but the sighting was great. Other species spotted were the Red-headed sunbird sucking nectcars from the flowers. The male sunbird was later joined by the female counterpart and did you know that it's easy to identify a male sunbird than a female one for new birders just getting started. The common bulbul is very common that for every three birds Species I was able to spot one. I heard the white browed coucal calling in the shrubs and again it reminded me of timing. I'm recording my daily bird sighting here and have a lovely birding day. http://www.birdtwitcher.com/birding-equipment-accessories/
